Presented by the Audrey Payne Brown Memorial Fund on Saturday, July 18th at Babb’s Place, 1631 SW 98th Avenue, Pembroke Pines, 2:00-7:00 PM. All proceeds will go to the A.P.B.M.F scholarship fund for local inner city youths. This scholarship honors Audrey Payne Brown, who passed away last year. Audrey, a Co-Founder of the Florida Association of Meetings & Events Professionals (FAME) and the Professional Tour Guide Association of Florida (PTGAF), was a leader among professionals in South Florida's destination management industry. Chapter of the Year! ~ and ~ The Best of the Best!

Hospitality Sales and
Marketing Association International (HSMAI) presented the HSMAI South
Florida
Chapter with the award for "2008 Chapter of the Year" at
the 2009 Annual
HSMAI
Leadership Conference. The chapter also won four "Chapter Best of the
Best" awards for Communications, Membership, Partnership, and best
use
of the web. In addition to the “Best of the Best” Awards, HSMAI South Florida was awarded a Platinum Chapter Assessment Report (CAR). Chapters had to excel in all performance areas to receive a platinum ranking. For the full story Click Here. |
